Abstract

Agriculture has long been the backbone of the Indian economy. However, the contribution of the agricultural sector to the overall economy has witnessed a significant decline, even though a majority of the population is directly or indirectly involved in agriculture and its allied sectors. This decline can be attributed to the numerous challenges faced by these sectors. In response to these challenges, several startups have emerged, aiming to address the issues and improve the state of agriculture. Concurrently, these startups have garnered substantial funding, which is the focus of analysis in this paper. The influx of funding reflects the growing recognition of the potential impact and viability of these startups in tackling the problems plaguing the agricultural sector.
