Abstract

Indian economy is among the fastest expanding worldwide. Today, Startups are redefining are the latest contributing factor to the nation’s growth. Through innovation, invention and initiation, startups are acting as an engine for employment generation, creation of wealth, better living standards and overall development. The unanticipated Covid-19 pandemic left the world in shambles, affecting almost all the sectors. The startup ecosphere was no different, largely impacted by the economic stagnation the pandemic brought along. By analyzing the startups before, during and towards the end of the pandemic, the paper will try to understand and summarize how the sector stands as an aftermath of the pandemic and what is in store for the future of the Indian Economy.
