School and schooling: Understanding the issues of the social work program

Abstract

The present paper is based upon the needs of social work practices to be recognized as a part and parcel of school activities at schools in India..The observations suggests  that social work has immense capabilities to cater to the needs of schools specially in the period of pandemic where social networking, mental well being and community connect is found to be necessary. It has the capabilities of bringing back the dropped out as well as out of school children in ambit of school.
