Juvenile Justice in India: Historical Context

Abstract

The present paper is based on the historical context of the juvenile justice in India.This has been a part of the ongoing research Ph.D. research where the authors have tried to delve deeper into the aspects of emergence of juvenile justice acts keeping in mind the their vulnerability. The findings suggests that India is committed to do away with vulnerability of the juveniles but much more has to be done for their successful rehabilitation.
